Home groups are small groups of people (ideally
10-14) who meet in homes during the week as a
cell of the larger church body. The goals of Home
Groups are to reach out, disciple one another,
raise up leaders, discover and develop spiritual
gifts, and grow closer to God and one another.
The weekly meetings typically include worship,
teaching, sharing of life experiences and prayer.
Our Home Groups meet on either Wednesday or Thursday
night.
Desert Rock Fellowship's
Home Groups are for everyone interested in fellowship,
worship, spiritual growth, and building close
relationships in a small group setting while being
part of the larger body.
Each group decides how
it will handle child care. Some groups provide
for their children at the meeting place. In other
groups, individuals make their own child care
arrangements or work out something with the other
group members.
Leaders are Desert Rock
Fellowship members who have been selected by the
Elders. They are growing Christians charged with
shepherding and discipling the people in their
group. Group members share responsibility for
specific functions or tasks within the group.
A Home Group will typically
last 6-8 months at which time there is an opportunity
for the leaders or members to change groups or
take a break.
To join a Home Group please
